Coffee taste good but they only serve small cups and it's overpriced.
some of the baristas are quite hot... some not so much.
Coffee tastes fantastic. Amazing cafe. Friendly staff. If you go too often, they'll even remember your usuals 😝
I recommend Flat White!!!! so good 👍🏻
Coffee (to go, small) 4 €? extremely expensive and doesn't taste that special.
Nice to sit on, minimalist, excellent coffee !! / specialty coffee; small, very tasty cake / cookie / brownie selection.
Nice cappuccino for an okay price (€3.60). Nice shop, they speak English and they accept card payments
Although i like the kreuzberg one better this one is also not bad everyone is friendly and i like their winter latte with cardamom
Nice place for short visit. No toilet
This place has the best tasting coffee in this area. The people who work there are also super knowledgeable. One star less since they only offer oat milk as an alternative.
The cheesecake is divine, as are the prices. The coffee (beans) 250gr for 10.90 € is really usury. But the cheesecake ... a dream. For this you drive through the entire city
No toilet, no WiFi. But good coffee
Worst coffee in Mitte so far. Espresso was so acidic I couldn’t drink it.... I know, I know now someone will start telling me how this coffee is roasted in a special way, bla, bla, bla... still, in Italy you get a better espresso in an abandoned petrol station. Nothing special about it, just tastes good.
Great coffee and friendly service.
My favourite coffee around the area. I recall my first visit, I found the coffee to be too acidic even when all I ever order is latte but it grew on me. The ice latte whether with almond milk or normal milk is really tasty. Small space with very limited seats.
Best coffee I’ve had in Berlin.
My favorite place to grab best quick espresso or in relaxed afternoons for great cake and excellent coffee. Super friendly staff, always a pleasure!
Great coffee!
I love the coffee at five elephant, these guys are great and I always buy coffee beans from them. The cheesecake is delicious! The place is beautiful and the service is good too.
Very good coffee, great pastries, including a delicious cheesecake. The lack of a toilet and not the most pleasant staff do not allow to issue 5.
Amazing cheesecake and filter coffee, friendly baristas and great, minimalistic design
Really good coffee. A bit annoying and hypocritical, however, that I had to take a paper cup with me because for some reason you can't make the coffee in Recup cups :-(. Check your Wesbite, it says the following: "We aim to both in a way that is mindful of our environmental impact and thoughtful of the social impact on the communities who produce our coffees." Yes exactly...
Excellent Cappuccino with mild flavorful taste! The cheesecake and the tart are marvelous as well! A cool hip place combined with delicious coffee and cake :)
Great coffee and cake.
Nice little coffee shop offering a range of coffee styles They sell beans as well The seating inside is limited The staff speaks English and is very friendly Make sure to try the cheesecake, it’s really good and not heavy at all Great location and lovely ambience
Overpriced cheesecake which is 90 grams compared to 130 in Pberg and Kberg branches
Rather small but outstanding cheesecakes and delicious coffee. And they don't pretend that oat milk is collected by virgins at the foot of Mount Fuji, so they don't charge you extra 50 cents for it, like The Barn or 19grams do.
A must for all cheesecake lovers 😊😋
Super flat white with Oatly oat milk! Strong and good coffee :)
Best coffee and Petit-Four in the neighborhood.
Great coffee, great music
Delicious cookies and brownies. Friendly service, laid back atmosphere, in a beautiful setting. Good chocolate milk and coffee.
Fantastic place, great coffee, delicious cakes, amazing service, defiantly come back and always recommend it.
Quite fantastic. Very personable and competent staff, great. Coffee at the highest level.
My absolute little darling in the middle of Berlin. I love the minimal, well-arranged interior and the small plates (?) On which the small cakes are served. Everything fits here from front to back. I also force friends to come here with me every time we are in Berlin, because I think it's so beautiful!
Excellent. Everything - the coffee, the service, the place. Especially the service. Actually it was so nice that we decided to check out their other branch on Kollwitzstraße whích was also super nice :)
Came for the big portion of cheesecake but I didn't know they serve the small size here, but it was SO GOOD
A lovely place to drink good coffee. Located in a neighborhood that I love.
The tall and muscular staff were friendly, but the short staff wearing a yellow T-shirt was scared and unfriendly. Still, because they asked me to change it, I forced him to change it with a ridiculous expression. It was the most uncomfortable because there weren't many seats and no toilet.
Ridiculously expensive for the tiny portions you get. The tea is served in a 120ml cup, and the latte was weak and cold. Also for your information: no toilet available.
Delicious coffee and yummy cakes. Shame the Five Elephant still uses plastic straws and plastic cups when there are great alternatives available nowadays.
Great coffee! Had their espresso and cappuccino, both were lovely
Nice staff! Great coffee! 😊
Good cheesecake
Loved it!. The staff is super nice and cool, and the cheese cake is amazing🧡🧡
Very nice café not far from the subway station. The staff is always friendly and courteous. Prices are reasonable and the ambience is pleasant, even in the current Corona period. Would love to come again.
Great coffee, especially if you like a darker roast than what you usually find in specialty cafés nowadays. Low acidity, but still present and delicious. I had a Flat White, and the microfoam in it was one of the smoothest I've ever had. My only complaint would be that the location in Mitte is a bit run down. It is not very welcoming, and also not very visible until you're standing right in front of it. I think it could benefit from a slight upscaling. If the place was as nice as the coffee, it would certainly be one of my favourites in Berlin!
Coffee was a little too sour for me as a coffee lover. The service friendly. The cake a bit dry and therefore too loyal. It is a typical hipster location of today.
The first time I came across Five Elephants was at the London Coffee Festival. They had such great coffee that we immediately bought 2-3 packs at that time. After moving back to Berlin, the place does not disappoint. Every time I had a coffee, I received a great product. Their batch-filter is great, I can't remember if they offer pour-overs, hence me not having tried it yet. There is nothing else to say other than it's an awesome place.
Nice coffee but its a small spot for hangout
